Smoke, drugs!

Smoke, drugs!

I’ll start by saying that I live in one of the small neighborhoods of Shahriar and have seen people who, given the difficult living conditions and depression and the understanding we have of life, are my own age, that is, 20 years old, and even in the range of 30 years old, things have happened to them and they have made decisions that I feel it’s necessary to write about; if it weren’t for my close encounter with this issue, I wouldn’t write about it at all, but now it seems necessary.

Unfortunately, what my generation, namely the 70s, especially the kids from the lower part of the city, might get involved in is the consumption of various things, perhaps to escape the realities of life, maybe many other things… It starts with simpler things like hookah or cigarettes and reaches very bad places :/

I use my own experience for this part:

When I first became a student and my life underwent big changes, I got a bit depressed and in that mood, I consumed some tobacco products and was quite hopeless about my future! I had previously written that listening to rap music also promoted this more, but because friends didn’t understand it correctly, I completely changed the content (if I want to give an example, I can mention Amir Khalvat’s songs in Persian rap… it definitely promotes the idea that consumption is good… or things that aren’t even rap and just promote anything to be seen, on the contrary, remember why Tupac hated drugs, why Eminem has been publishing his 11 years of staying away from drugs and is one of the leaders in the fight against drugs in America? Awareness is good. Please read about the consumption of various things and if you haven’t come to hate it, then maybe you’ve chosen it! And of course, you’re free to choose anything)

For a while, I also worked part-time and it was a bit harder for me, I won’t explain too much, but after about a year, I reached a point where I was tired of life and left my job (meanwhile, to fill the time when I wasn’t at university, I turned to sitcom series which I definitely have to write about) and well, songs with better vibes and movies, series, and online computer games, we played almost every day with university friends and I really felt I was enjoying my life. (Even mistakenly D:)

And although I may not use much of my time usefully, I enjoy my life, watch movies, play games, study, listen to good music, and work.

But thankfully, I didn’t get involved myself, but I’ve seen up close people, friends, and acquaintances who got involved with drugs and what it does to a person is disgusting, I suggest you definitely read about the different types on Wikipedia to be aware and make informed choices. The effects are truly disgusting and what people will do for profit is appalling :|

In conclusion:

I think it’s very important to be aware and educated about these things because when access to substances is as easy as access to a movie with content not suitable for someone’s age or temperament, the potential for harm is very high. However, if the same person is informed, the outcome is good, and even if they get involved, they come back and lead a better life (definitely watch the movies Requiem for a Dream and The Basketball Diaries). For example, consider people in history who have seen the worst damage but have come out of it well and achieved success. So, be sure to be aware of the damages that might affect you, don’t easily make anyone your role model, and don’t accept everything that is promoted because regretting some things is pointless.

I also recommend that if you don’t have very good conditions and environment, continue your education as far as you know, because maybe being in the social position and within the framework of school, university, if it doesn’t teach you anything, at least gives you time and a line to stay on the right path, learn good things, and gain awareness. But if you have to drop out due to circumstances, remember that many of the world’s most successful people, like Bill Gates, dropped out of university and succeeded, but many dropped out and went completely in the opposite direction of the success they thought they would have! In my opinion, someone can be goal-oriented in difficult circumstances if they deeply understand it, are aware, have a logical reason for their actions, and strive for it! Naturally, if you are in this situation, you have a harder path ahead, but if you really work hard and are goal-oriented, then you will succeed! Now, someone who has difficult circumstances naturally has more preoccupations because they are constantly thinking about various things and societal problems and may have confused thoughts, but if they have a big goal and strive for it and believe in change, then they will succeed (if you like, you can read about the life of singer Sia and of course about Bill Gates and Steve Jobs).

Ultimately:

Live however you want as long as you don’t hurt anyone.
