Goals, Decisions!

Goals, Decisions!

well I think it’s been 7 months since I last wrote here, I had said before that Medium has been a sharing of important events of my life and I don’t write anything here (at least until now!) So let’s go after this long time if you have the patience Let’s see what happened that I missed writing…

As the title of the article suggests, I focus the article on the goals and decisions we make in life, have you seen these speakers and in short, those who say beautiful things say write everything and worship writing in general! But I don’t care about them and of course my writing is not on paper but for the things I do in my life I have some text files on the computer and I try to decide from them for my life… (And this way it makes me remember and whatever comes to my mind I add it to these files and prioritize them down and up…) (If you think to yourself what patience you have, I have to say that this is not very organized and many things are solved by dragging a link in the browser bookmarks; which I probably forget later and don’t go after them ?)

Now I can say that the idea of writing this text came from here that I checked one of the files after a long time and I was surprised at how much I have changed since then! I mean, I had written some things that were very hard for me at the moment, but now that I look, I see how much life has created more important things for me and just some things that were a concern at the time for themselves are now solved in a very ridiculous way.

Let me not hurt your head by saying generalities and strange and close things and give an example…

One of the things in this file is things that I want to buy… Now from the widget and small things to big things that may be hard to come by… For example, in this file there was a list of computer parts and buying a new computer that now costs a lot and is considered very expensive even equivalent to a car a few models ago and well I started ticking these and gradually reached the goals… How much I enjoyed that finally something that might have been a complex for several years was resolved and now it’s time to sit on it and play Game hard! But when it was resolved, it was just peace of mind and never as I thought about it, it was not enjoyable for me! Now there are more important things in this file like buying a house and becoming independent and forming a life! Really, human beings always want more and more and we are not satisfied…

But I didn’t say these to say that all needs are financial and materialistic… For example, in a file called Decisions, there are decisions that I make for my life and their priorities! For example:

Reading some books that I have listed for myself Watching some movies and series and documentaries Listening! To music, podcasts and … Working and its areas that include doing some software projects, research and making Portfolio and resume and these… Computer games that I want to experience Exercise and training (mountaineering, cycling and…) (For example, I learned swimming during this time) And Hobbies that include music, filmmaking and photography Well, these are very big things (in addition to each of them having a set of sub-files that have more details) and well naturally a person can’t reach all of them but it helps to form a mental image and spend time and money on their priorities…

Mind Mapper tools are also almost such a thing and help to draw decisions and mental structure and help to decide… (Even the structure of the brain and neurons also prove this and the neural network that is used in computers to make software smart…)

Some of the lists can also be Pros/Cons or for example a diet and …

Now what’s interesting is that many of these are big thinking and not acting on them! And since my work concerns increased and I became Full-Time busy, I visited these files less and less (Of course, I have some files from last year that are Todo List and things that need to be done at work and help me work more organized and the time I put on them and the things I do…) This way when I look at them Overally later I can understand whether I made progress or not and …

The second thing that is interesting is that I opened the files that I mentioned above after a long time and saw that in some of them I had implicitly progressed and how much the priorities had changed!

That’s it! I thought it wouldn’t be bad to talk about the method I use to make decisions for different small and big things and share it, maybe it would be interesting for someone if you think something similar that helps like this I would be happy to introduce it in the comment…

I also put these lists on my own GitHub, it might be interesting! That for example what I listen to! What I see! I read, what I follow on social media and even Pull Request you give me I will be happy D:
